Victor Langlois, a 19-year-old transgender artist, has made $50 million selling his NFT artwork in just over a year. The trans teen rose to prominence after his NFTs and physical artwork were auctioned for $2.16 million at Christie’s in New York the previous year. “Hello, I’m Victor (FEWOCiOUS), and This Is My Life” was a collection about his childhood and gender transition.

Non-fungible tokens, or NFTs, are cryptographic tokens with a unique identification code and metadata that exist on a blockchain and cannot be replicated. NFTs work similarly to communicators or information tokens, but unlike cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin or Ethereum, they are not fungible or interchangeable. NFTs, according to their supporters, provide a public certificate of authenticity or proof of ownership.
How Victor Langlois Earned Through NFT?
Langlois, also known as FEWOCiOUS, has been achieving more success and sales of his digital artwork since his first sale in the world of NFT art. The 19-year-old artist has since sold more artworks on NFT marketplaces. He has gradually established himself as a household name in the space, selling nearly $20 million worth of NFTs in less than 24 hours on Nifty Gateway. According to Fortune, this was the third-largest sale on the NFT marketplace.
He also admitted to the publication that he was afraid of coming out because his family is religious. He also mentioned how his Latina grandmother couldn’t understand why he chose to be an artist.
