Camila Cabello Is Going To Be a Coach on ‘The Voice’ Season 22. Camila Cabello will join the coaching panel and replace Kelly Clarkson on NBC’s popular singing competition “The Voice”. The former Fifth Harmony member made her big reveal through song, popping her head up in a clip shared on Twitter, in which Gwen Stefani, Blake Shelton, and John Legend were also confirmed to return to the show.
On Sunday, the show tweeted
Give a warm welcome to your Voice Coaches. 💗 #TheVoice returns this fall with @blakeshelton , @johnlegend , @gwenstefani and @Camila_Cabello .
Cabello is also familiar with The Voice competition, having previously served as a mentor to coach John Legend’s team last season. She’ll be competing against Legend, longtime coach Blake Shelton, and Shelton’s wife, Gwen Stefani, who is returning to replace last season’s addition, Ariana Grande, in the upcoming season, which is expected to premiere this fall.
The “Havana” star made her breakthrough after competing in the NBC singing competition “X-Factor” in the United States. Following her inclusion in Fifth Harmony, the girl group finished third.
Camila will be judging in one of the show’s trademark red spinning chairs for the first time, but this isn’t her first time working on the singing competition. During season 21, she served as an advisor for Team Legend on The Voice.
